Исключения

(особые формы образования множественного числа)

существительные, имеющие	deer — deer
одинаковую форму в единственном	sheep — sheep
и множественном числе	swine — swine
существительные, оканчивающиеся	wolf — wolves
на f и fe, меняют их во множественном	wife — wives
числе на ves	knife — knives
	man — men
следующие существительные, которые	woman — women
во множественном числе меняют	tooth — teeth
гласную в корне без добавления	goose — geese
окончания	foot — feet
	mouse — mice
существительные, имеющие форму	trousers, glasses, clothes, spectacles, scissors, goods
только множественного числа
существительные, имеющие форму только единственного числа	sugar, milk, money, weather, peace
существительные child и ох меняют ед. число на множеств, число путем прибавления нового окончания	child — children ox — oxen
