G 3 Герундий в функции предложного дополнения

Герундий в функции предложного дополнения употребляется после ряда глаголов с закрепленными предлогами и глагольных словосочетаний.

I’m thinking of starting my own business.

Are you accusing me of cheating?

He’s not very good at making polite conversation.

Стоит обратить внимание, что в выражениях object to, be/get used to, accustomed to, look forward to, to является предлогом и после них могут употребляется герундий, существительное или местоимение.
