The object of research – the public debt of the Republic of Belarus.

The subject of research – methods of management the public debt, volumes, structure, dynamics of development.

Work purpose: to analyse established practices of management of a public debt in Republic of Belarus, to reveal problems in this sphere and to define ways of their decision.

Research methods: comparative analysis, groups, expert estimates, graphic.

Researches and development: the approaches ways of management the public debt in the Republic of Belarus, the assessment of their efficiency was given, ways of their optimization were offered.

Elements of scientific novelty: approaches to the organization of an effective control system of the public debt in the Republic of Belarus that will allow to stop increasing debt, and also will reduce disproportions of a current account of the balance of payments.

Area of possible practical application: process of management of the public debt in Republic of Belarus and other countries, with similar economies.

The author of work confirms that the settlement and analytical material given in the thesis correctly and objectively reflects a condition of the studied process, and all theoretical, methodological and methodical provisions and concepts borrowed from literary and other sources are followed by links to their authors.
