Exercise 1: In the following dialogues, the long answer is given in brackets. Look at the long answer and then make the appropriate yes/no question and short answer to complete each dialogue. Do not use a negative verb in the question.

A yes/no question = a question that may be answered by yesor no A: Does Ann live in Montreal? B: Yes, she does. No, she doesn’t. An information question = a question that asks for information by using a question word: where, when, why, who, whom, what, which, whose, how.
QUESTION WORD + HELPING WORD + SUBJECT + MAIN VERB
