1.Predictive istening:
Work in pairs. Split the article into two parts between the two students. Each student hould carefully go through the part he or she has chosen to find several places in the text where he or she could stop before a particular word or a clause so that the other student could try to guess what this word or clause might be.
It should be mentioned here that, during reading, we are subconsciously predicting and anticipating language, based on our knowledge of language as well as our understanding of the text.
2.1.Look through the text of the article, as quick as possible, in order to extract the sense and the structure of the text, its main idea, secondary ideas, casual links.
3.1.Make up a gist of the article.

5.1.Translate the article at sight.
