Purser: Jenny, Mrs Lenchik needs a baby-cot for her baby after take-off. Could you look after her?

CA: Certainly. Welcome on board, Mrs Lenchik. My name is Jenny and I’ll be looking after you during your flight. How old is your baby?

Mrs Lenchik: She’ll be 11 months tomorrow!

CA: Ah, she’s asleep! She’s beautiful! Has she flown before?

Mrs Lenchik: No, this is my first flight with her. Actually, I’ve only just managed to get her to sleep – she’s been a bit difficult in departure hall. I’m hoping she’ll stay asleep during take-off.

CA: OK. Your baby will need to be seated on your lap during take-off and landing, fastened to your seat belt with a special baby belt. Hopefully we won’t wake her up! I’ll go and take one for you and show you how it works. After take-off I’ll bring you a baby-cot for your baby…..and if you need anything during the flight, just let me know. I’ll be back with the baby belt in just a minute, OK?

Mrs Lenchik: Thanks.

CA: Hello, can I help you?

Woman: Yes, could you warm up the milk for my baby?

CA: I’m afraid we are busy just now. Could you, please, wait for a moment?

Woman: Not really. I have to feed her now. She’s been crying for a long time.

CA: Leave it with me and I’ll do it as soon as possible.

Woman: Thanks.

PAX: - I'm sorry to trouble you.

CA: - No trouble at all. What can I do for you?

PAX: - Is a baby-cot available on board your aircraft?

CA: - Certainly. I'll fix the baby-cot to this bulkhead after the "Fasten Seat Belt" sign is off.

PAX: - Is the baby-cot supplied with a bedding?

CA: - Yes, it consists of a mattress with a cover, two disposable bed-sheets, a pillow with two disposable pillow cases, a blanket and a baby-kit. If you want to swaddle your baby, you can find a baby diaper changing table in the rear lavatory.

CA: - I'm sorry to trouble you, madam.

PAX: - No trouble at all.

CA: - Can I ask you to follow some instructions concerning your baby?

PAX: - What instructions?

CA: - Please, keep the safety belts of the cot fastened when your baby is in the cot, that's for the baby's safety. But when the "Fasten Seat Belt" sign is on, hold your baby firmly on the lap outside your seat belt. Do not fasten your baby with your seatbelt. I'll bring a special baby belt for you now.

CA: - Your seat is in the last row but one. Let me show you your seat, madam. Please, follow me. This is your seat. Please make yourself comfortable. Can I ask you to follow some instructions concerning your pet.

PAX: - What are they?

CA: - Please, keep your pet in the closed basket (box, cage) during the whole flight. Please, keep the pet muzzled and do not feed of water it.

NOTE: Please, keep the guide-dog muzzled and tie it to the leg/armrest of the chair by the dog-line.
