Before you listen, discuss the following. · Is there any real need to start worrying about environment? · How can governments increase environmental awareness? | b. Now listen to the recording. 3.2. Look at the following warning signs and match them with what they mean.

| 3.3. Look at the picture and tell how different kinds of pollution influence the body and organs. Keep in mind that not all kinds of pollution are mentioned in the picture.

3.4. As the environmental movement becomes stronger and stronger, different subgroups emerge within it. Which environmental protection movements / groups do you know? Are they popular in Ukraine or abroad?
Look at the list of acronyms and find out what
they stand for.
| What most of these people oppose?
Is there a group that does not protest industrial development and urban sprawl?
 If you had an opportunity to take part in a NIMBY protest (or any other protest), would you join it? Why / Why not? Give your grounds.
