Houston citizens against noise pollution

& AUDIO ABUSE-ACOUSTIC RAPE-DOMESTIC TERRORISM

“BOOM-BOOM-BOOM...THUMP-THUMP-THUMP; BARK-BARK-BARK...BANG-BANG-BANG” … WE DON’T HAVE TO PUT UP WITH IT!

Just how SICK & TIRED are YOU of being TORTURED, VICTIMIZED and ACOUSTICALLY-RAPED by neighborhood "BOOMHEAD" AUDIO TERRORISTS on a DAILY basis in your homes and on the roads? Do you REALLY think the term “Terrorists” is too harsh? What else would you call the deliberately brazen infliction of pain, noise and disruption on others, the infernally OBNOXIOUS INVASION of your privacy, home (the rude, involuntary penetration of the sanctity of your body and home, even with windows and doors CLOSED), not to mention all the HEALTH RISKS associated with the STRESS of someone "UNDER ATTACK", and potential damage to your internal organs, nerves, immune systems, dangerous distraction while driving, etc.? There is also the violation of your RIGHT TO "PEACEFUL ENJOYMENT" OF YOUR OWN HOME & PROPERTY which is protected by Texas Real Estate Law and the Houston Code of City Ordinances on "Noise Regulation & Control".

And what about OTHER forms of unnecessary, avoidable noise pollution from less serious, but equally "clueless"/inconsiderate neighbors ("Binge-Barking /Yelping" DOGS at all hours of the day or night, "midnight mechanics/carpenters", early Sunday morning lawn-mowers,/"power-brooms", frequent LOUD PARTIES, "garage-based" ROCK BANDS, etc.)

They, too can cause much lost sleep and frazzled nerves! (and not just AFTER 10 pm either.) Unfortunately, I have found that there are many “silent sufferers” and Noise Abuse victims here in Houston that are just as “clueless” about their options as the noise-offenders and audio thugs are about the grief, pain, and disruption they inflict on others repeatedly, and often deliberately.
