Spark Plug Gap Inspection
• Measure the gap [A] with a wire-type thickness gauge.
• If the gap is incorrect, carefully bend the side electrode [B] with a suitable tool to obtain the correct gap.

Lights and Switches Operation Inspection First Step • Turn on the ignition switch. The following lights should go on according to below table. |
0.6 ∼ 0.7 mm (0.024 ∼ 0.028 in.)
City Light [A] | goes on |
Taillight [B] | goes on |
Neutral Indicator LED [C] | goes on |
Oil Pressure Warning Indicator LED [D] | goes on |
Water Temperature Warning Indicator LED [E] | goes on |
* If the light does not go on, inspect or replace the following item. Battery (see Battery Activation in the Electrical System chapter)
Applicable Bulb (see Lighting System in the Electrical System chapter)
Meter Unit for Meter Panel Light (see Meter Unit in the Electrical System chapter)
Meter Unit for Neutral Indicator Light (see Motor Unit in the Electrical System chapter)
Meter Unit for Oil Pressure Warning Indicator Light (see Meter Unit in the Electrical System chapter) Meter Unit for Water Temperature Warning Indicator Light (see Meter Unit in the Electrical System chapter) Main Fuse 30 A and Taillight Fuse 10 A (see Fuses in the Electrical System chapter)
