The people B1-B5 all want to find a fitness club to go in for sports. Read the descriptions of fitness clubs A-H and decide which fitness club would be the most suitable for these people. For questions B1-B5, choose the correct letter A-H. There are three extra descriptions of fitness clubs which you do not need to use. Write THE LETTERS in the appropriate boxes.

B1 Helen works very hard. She works at the transnational company which requires much efforts so she has almost no spare time in her schedule. Lately Helen feels not well because of getting tired very fast. Now she needs a good fitness club where she could work out without any disturbing by others.

B2 For the winter time Kate gained some weight. She wants to lose a few kilograms by the summer time. Kate would like to find a short-term program in some fitness club.

B3 John is not a newcomer in sport. He has been going in for sports for about 10 years. He knows to handle with any equipment in sport club. At the moment he is looking for something new in sports equipment that can surprise him.

B4 Ann and Nick are married couple. They like working out together. They visited a plenty of fitness clubs. Very often they have some problems with clubs. The point is that after working out they want to have a snack. Not every club affords such an opportunity. They want to find a fitness club with a café.

B5 Sam, Jane and their daughter Katherine lead a healthy life. They try to take care of their health. The family eats much fresh fruits and vegetables, walk in the open air. They also are going to start taking up sports. For this purpose they find a fitness club for their family. But they do not know what they should do there and what they should begin with. They need a piece of advice.

A. «The Athletics» fitness clubis a club for sport lovers. With the following three adjectives we can describe our club: faster, higher and stronger. There is no need to tell that we are the best. Come and see us and you will make sure.

B. Situated in the city centrethe fitness club «Fit fashion» has modern equipment, including running, cycling and rowing machines. There is also a swimming pool in the club, which is 20 meters long and 5 metres wide. In the club there is also a small café. You can buy sandwiches, fruit and drinks here.

C. «The Sunrise Avenue» fitness club gives you many services: all kinds of modern machines for exercises, free trainer’s consultation, a swimming pool, a sauna and a café. The timetable and programs are agreed. It can be long or short trainings. The choice is yours!

D. «The Gold’s Gym». This fitness club is peacefully situated in Russell Square and offers an oasis of calm in the heart of London. There is everything that you need: from all sports stuff to the beauty centre. Full-time membership costs £100 per month. Part-time membership costs £75 per month. Opening hours – full-time: Tues – Sun 06.30 – 22.30, part-time: Tues – Sun 10.00 – 15.30.

E. The fitness club «Fit for you» gives a unique opportunity for working out. This club is for those who are sick of the furious speed of life. There is everything you need plus relaxing music, friendly atmosphere and your schedule you choose by yourself.

F. «Sport life» in Princeton is a new first-class fitness club opened one year ago. This club is both for fans of sports and beginners. Comfortable large rooms, different training apparatus, a wellness centre and a cozy café are at your service. On your first visit a trainer teaches you about the equipment and designs an exercise plan for you. For regular visitors there are good discounts.

G.«Prestige» fitness club is not only sport although it is central point in this club. Much attention here is given to details. There are beautiful rooms, well decorated furniture, fresh press from all over the world, radio, all important sports events are shown on the large-screen TV.

H. The fitness club «Taurus» is one of the modern, largest and livest fitness clubs in UK. It is ideal place for everyday exercises. Enjoy different classes: yoga, aerobics, cycling and dance. And without any doubt you will pay attention to the brand-new «the running machine of the 21st century», which was created by specialists not long ago.
