Упр.10 I. 3 Признаком инфинитива служит частица to, однако она часто опускается: после вспомогательных и модальных глаголов (must, can, could, may, might, should,), выражений совета (had better) и предпочтения (would rather), в сложном дополнении, вводимом глаголами восприятия (see, hear, watch, notice, observe), а также глаголами make, let и в некоторых придаточных предложениях сослагательного наклонения.
