Now look at the pictures again. Two of the pictures will be used in a seminar for university students entitled “ Is the Planet Imperiled?” Together, choose two photos and explain your choice using active vocabulary where possible.

3.10. Speculate on the following:

The organizers of the seminar for university students entitled “ Is the Planet Imperiled?” have asked you to find one photograph to be used on the cover of the seminar notes that will be handed out to the participants. Decide on the picture which you feel is most suitable. Prepare a 2-minute talk to present this picture to the organizing committee. Pay attention to the style of the public presentation and use appropriate vocabulary and expressive means to have your picture chosen. After the presentation, vote for the best presented picture.

4. Can we develop more responsibility and protect our planet if the governments popularize such books / films etc.?
