We have received your letter of September 4, 2002 concerning the above-mentioned order. We regret that you did not receive the whole consignment of China Ware.

Our Forwarding Agents have informed us that the crates (Nos. 15017) were left behind at the warehouse of the Port of London. They are arranging for the dispatch of the three crates short-shipped on board the m/v Catherine which is to arrive in Marseilles on May, 2003.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this short-shipment which was due to circumstances beyond our control. We will contact our Forwarding Agents and the port authorities to prevent delays occurring in this way in future.
