Really Wild Show

Sue Smith is good-looking with a bright and lively personality. She is a new presenter on TV’s “Really Wild Show” and she also plays a part in a new TV drama and in a soap called “Life”. When I see her in the studio surrounded by monkey’s, foxes, wild rabbits and even a puma cub, I understand that she is animal crazy.

- Hello, Sue. I am going to ask you a few questions about the new show and its presenter. How does it feel to work with wild animals?

- Oh, you have to love animals, of course, and be very kind to them. If you lose the ability to understand animals, you show is never a success. And, of course, some personal qualities are important, too. You have to be brave and confident and make decisions very quickly.

- Are the animals always very well behaved on the Really Wild Show?

- No, not always. On one programme we had some puma cubs that looked like beautiful little kittens. One minute they were asleep and looked just lovely, the next they were very much awake. I ended up with scratches all the way up arm.

- Do you have to be extra careful with animals around?

- Oh, yes. The giraffes, for instance, are huge and a kick from one can kill. That’s why we always have qualified animal trainers around. But really there’s never very much danger as long as we listen to the trainers very carefully.

- Why do you think the show is so popular?

- I think it helps everyone to understand the animals. After all, in the show we see them as they are in real nature. And the kids get a chance to join in the fun.

- Sure, what do you usually do in your free time?

- Actually, I don’t have much free time at all. But I do go to parties and visit my friends. I try to enjoy life and bring as much enjoyment to other people as I can.
