Sharing detailed information is not a good use of a presentation__ Audiences will not remember detail__ You can use a presentation to inform an audience about a major change or initiative__ but use written forms of communication for the detail__ Thus__ your purpose drives the type of presentation you choose__ You will also need to tailor your presentation to

the size of the audience (large__ medium__ small)__

the formality of the situation__

the regularity of the meeting (one-time__ occasional__ frequent)__

the time of the day and other particulars of the occasion__

VIII. Emphasis is the stress on any element of a sentence which is made with the help of intonation, repetition, syntactical position and other methods. With the help of emphatic constructions separate parts of a sentence are stressed, they influence into the expressive color of the whole sentence. Emphatic constructions are taken as those in opposition to neutral constructions.
