This Glossary is a text English-Russian glossary of legal terms and some everyday words and set-phrases used in the text-book “Introduction to International Legal English” published by Cambridge University Press. The Glossary covers about __________ English legal concepts, terms and everyday words with their Russian equivalents, often accompanied with clear, concise explanations.

It consists of 10 parts according to the number of units in the text-book “Introduction to International Legal English”. Each unit is a guide to everyday words and legal terms in certain areas of law, such as Company Law, Contract Law, Employment Law, International Law, Litigation and Arbitration, etc.

Glossary entries are in the alphabet order with the indication of pages they are used on. The Glossary is followed by an alphabet index.

The Glossary is designed for law students who can use it as a study tool. Students will have an increased comfort level using such an invaluable course book as “Introduction to International Legal English”, if they have a Glossary of Legal Terms handy. Besides this Glossary will be useful for lawyers and a wide range of professionals who are involved in translating different legal materials from English into Russian.
