What can you see there?

Canberra is divided by Lake Burley Griffin – an artificial lake with two large bridges. The main point in the city is Capital Hall, from which all the main avenues go and around which are the main official buildings. The interesting places are Yarralumla House – the residence of the governor-general, the Australian National University, and the National Library.

One of the most characteristic points is the Australian American Memorial, built to express the gratitude of Australian people to the American people for their help during World War II.
