XVI. Practice talking about

a) Give the information about the aims of conducting exhibitions and fairs and their role in industry and economy.

b) The activity of an exhibition centre in your city or region.

c) Your building-machine enterprise is invited to participate in the regional exhibition. How you will demonstrate your production.

d) Your duty is to pick up the information about exhibitions in your field of activity. What you know about them now.

e) The participation of your enterprise in some fairs and the economical effect of it.

XVII. Work in groups of two or three, talk about your firm's participation in the exhibition, using the information about conditions of participation

a) Your enterprise has got an invitation to take part in the regional exhibition. You are the Manager. Discuss with the Vice-Manager the conditions of participation.

b) Discuss with the Chief Accountant the possibility of paying off expenses connected with participation in that exhibition.

c) Discuss with the Chief Engineer what competitive goods might be exhibited.

d) Discuss with the Sales Manager who could he sent to the exhibition to represent your firm.

e) Discuss with the Chiefs of all departments and technologists the possibility of your participation in the exhibition.
