My Family

I would like to tell you about my family. It consists of four people: mymother, my father, my sister and me.

My mother’s name is Natalya Lvovna Perova. She is 52. Her maiden’s name is Thcaikovskaya. When got married she changed her surname. She is a musician. She works at the State Philharmonics. She is a music professor. She was graduated from Conservatory in 1975 and dedicated her all life to music, to giving performances and teaching.

My father’s name is Perov Dmitry Konstantinovich. He is 55. He is a history professor in at the State University. He likes his occupation. He says: “Those who don’t remember their history are destined to live through their past again and again.” He is a wise man. I can always ask for advice from him.

I also have an elder brother. His name is Alexander. He is 2 years older than me. He was graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts. He is an artist. He is really talented. My favourite pastime is to stay next to him watching him drawing or painting. He has a lot of friends. He is really sociable. He has a girlfriend and they are going to get married soon.

Unfortunately my grand parents passed away some years ago. I miss them a lot. They were nice and loving people. They had to live through war and difficult time of repression. My granny was a sufficient cook and a really attractive woman. My grandpa was a multiple personality and had a very dramatic life. He outlived my granny but loved her even after she passed away.

Summing everything up I should say that my family is my treasure. I know that they will always back me up whatever happens and I’ll be next to them in case they need it.
